San Benito County students from TK to 12th grade are invited to participate in this year’s Keep San Benito Bonito” Recology Poster Contest! Submissions must be received by March 14, 2025.
This year’s theme is: Keep San Benito Bonito! Students are encouraged to draw a solution that answers what are places you see being impacted by litter and how can you inspire others to keep your community beautiful and litter-free.
“The art poster contest is always a high point in our community,” said San Benito County Integrated Waste Manager Celina Stotler, “the student artwork presented showcases the amazing talent of local students and empowers them to inspire positive change and advocate for a world where recycling and environmental stewardship is not just a choice but a way of life.”
Entries to the Art Poster Contest are due no later than 5:00 p.m., March 14, 2025, as a PDF file(s) and must be turned in to PosterContest@recology.com. All questions may be emailed to PosterContest@recology.com.
All qualifying artwork will be featured in an online gallery, and fifteen winning posters will be enlarged and displayed alongside Recology’s collection trucks. Winners will be announced at the County’s Earth Day Celebration event in April and receive a certificate and a prize package.
