A series of public meetings is scheduled to provide commuters with more information about the changes coming to the Highway 101 and State Route 25 Interchange.
This project is intended to accommodate traffic demands due to rapid growth in commuter, commercial, and recreational traffic that uses State Route 25 in Gilroy.
The project will enable future improvements to US 101 and State Route 152 and provide a connection for a future Santa Teresa Boulevard extension from Castro Valley Road. The VTA project team will make a brief presentation and answer any questions from the public.
These meetings will include an introduction to the project and breakout stations staffed by topic experts on topics of final design, traffic impacts, and communications.
These in-person and online meetings will take place on the following dates:
- (IN PERSON) Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Gilroy Library, Community Room, 350 W. 6th Street in Gilroy
- (IN PERSON) Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Gavilan College, North & South Lounge Rooms, 5055 Santa Teresa Boulevard in Gilroy
- (ONLINE) Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 6:00 pm (ENGLISH & SPANISH)
