Pet Friends & Rescue announces reopening

Pet Friends & Rescue—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill-shelter—is excited to announce its reopening after a 4-year closure. As San Benito County’s only low-cost spay and neuter clinic, it has completed over 10,000 surgeries which has helped eliminate tens-of-thousands of unwanted cats and dogs to proliferate and roam our community.  

The following prices are effective as of January 1, 2025 and are subject to change.

All animals (dogs and cats) must be at least 8-weeks-old and two-pounds. 

Dog Sterilization 

Female Spay:

2-39 lbs. $190, 40-10 lbs. $210, 71-85 lbs. $250,86-100 lbs. $300

Male Neuter:

2-39 lbs. $160, 40-10 lbs. $185, 71-85 lbs. $220, 86-100 lbs. $255

Cat Sterilization 

Female Spay:

Domestic $130, Feral $60,

Male Neuter:

Domestic $90,Feral $45

Additional

Costs/Vaccinations: Recovery Cone $15, Microchip $25, Distemper vacc. $20 (+DHPP-in dogs), FVRCP (cats) $20, Rabies $18
