The Community Foundation for San Benito County (CFFSBC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Johnson as its Interim Chief Executive Officer. Kathy brings over 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience, a strong track record in community engagement, and a deep commitment to fostering positive change within San Benito County.
As a seasoned leader in the nonprofit sector, Johnson has held key positions in organizations dedicated to social impact, public service, and community development. Her wealth of experience and passion for the mission of the Community Foundation make her a natural fit to lead the organization through this pivotal time.
“Kathy’s extensive background in nonprofit management, coupled with her dedication to the San Benito community, will be an incredible asset as we continue to build on the Foundation’s legacy,” said Chang So, Chair of the Board of Directors for CFFSBC. “We are excited to have Kathy step into this interim role, and we look forward to her leadership in advancing our mission of strengthening the local community and enhancing the quality of life for all who call San Benito County home.”
Johnson will oversee day-to-day operations, manage key initiatives, and help guide the Foundation’s strategic direction as it continues to support nonprofits, scholarships, and charitable endeavors across the region. She will be a partner to the executive search firm, Kittleman & Associates, LLC as they continue to recruit a permanent CEO.
