San Benito Regional Priority Plan community wildfire meeting

We hope you will join us on March 26 for the Regional Priority Plan Community Wildfire Meeting, hosted by the San Benito Wildfire Resilience Program (SBWRP). At this community meeting we will provide residents with information and gather input on potential wildfire mitigation projects in San Benito County. These projects represent the implementation of the Community Wildfire Protection Plan, which you, the community, helped to develop. Dinner will be provided to registrants, courtesy of grant funding obtained through UC Cooperative Extension.

Please share this important information with your neighbors and friends who live in high wildfire risk areas of San Benito County. Details and registration for the meeting are below:

WHAT:           Regional Priority Plan Community Wildfire Meeting

WHEN:          Wednesday, March 26th, 5:30-8:00 pm (Dinner provided)

WHERE:       Bolado Park and Event Center, Oaks Room, Tres Pinos

WHO:           Residents of San Benito County are encouraged to attend but anyone is welcome.

Core partners in the San Benito Wildfire Resilience Program (SBWRP) include: San Benito Fire Safe Council, San Benito Agricultural Land Trust, San Benito Resource Conservation District, San Benito Office of Emergency Services, San Benito County Cattlemen’s Association, Bolado Park and Event Center, University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources Cooperative Extension, City of Hollister Fire Department, California State Parks, Amah Mutsun Land Trust, Bureau of Land Management, CAL FIRE, and  the National Park Service. The consultant team supporting the SBWRP includes Environmental Science Associates (ESA) and Spatial Informatics Group. Find more information about the San Benito Wildfire Resilience Program here.
