According to Cal Fire a vegetation fire is burning at Panoche Solar Farm near Little Panoche and Panoche Roads. The fire, which was first reported at 10 acres, is being fought with air and ground units. The area is surrounded by service roads which could serve as a fire break.
As of 8:26 p.m. July 9, the fire is 93 acres with 100% containment.
The cause of the ignition is under investigation.
