Contracted crews will initiate repairs on drainage structures next week on an pproximately three-mile segment along the inside shoulder of north and southbound US 101 between San Juan Road and the Highway 101/Highway 156 interchange. Travelers will encounter these overnight closures from 8 pm to 6 am Sunday night, Jan. 12 until Friday morning, Jan. 17 with the closure of the number one (left) lane.
This roadwork will address drainage issues at these locations that have experienced flooding during past rain events. Crews hope to take advantage of clear weather in the forecast to accomplish this work.
Travelers can expect delays of 15 minutes. Message and directional signs will be placed in advance of the project area to alert travelers.
