Toy Drives make Christmas happier for local kids

San Benito County organizations give donors opportunities to spread holiday cheer.

From the KSBW Share Your Holiday event on Dec. 6  to the LULAC toy-drive giveaway at the Veterans Memorial Building in Hollister on Dec. 23, local volunteers and businesses helped make the season brighter for children.

Maria Romero of the Salvation Army said they expected around 360 families to show up at the LULAC giveaway. “I just wanna say thank you to this great group of volunteers,” Remero said
