Hollister High School girls field hockey looks to continue its strong season Oct. 15 against Stevenson High School from Pebble Beach.

Coach Kourtney Carmichael said the team looked great in their 2-1 win over Shawinigan Lake from Vancouver, Canada.

“This was the strongest we have ever played and makes me confident going into the rest of the season and postseason CCS matches,” she said.

This is Carmichael’s first years as the varsity head coach. The team’s record is 4-1-1.

Dora Sui Jennings, BenitoLink summer intern, spoke with Carmichael ahead of the season on her expectations and goals.
