San Benito Leadership Institute is proud to announce the launch of its groundbreaking Adult Community Leadership Program, set to commence on September 20, 2024. This innovative initiative is designed to nurture a new generation of community leaders through a comprehensive curriculum that combines leadership training, soft skills development, and wellness practices.
The inaugural cohort consists of 25 participants, each chosen for their exceptional potential and dedication to community impact. This diverse group brings varied perspectives from different genders, educational backgrounds, and business sectors, including non-profit, corporate, and governmental fields. This rich diversity will enhance the program’s collaborative and dynamic learning environment.
Key Features of the Program Include:
- Leadership Development Workshops: Participants will engage in intensive sessions covering strategic vision, innovation in community engagement, and inclusive decision- making, led by experienced leaders and experts.
- Soft Skills Development: The program includes targeted training in essential soft skills such as effective communication, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution, crucial for effective leadership and community interaction.
- Wellness Practices: Recognizing the importance of holistic well-being, the program incorporates wellness practices such as mindfulness, stress management, and work-life balance strategies, ensuring that leaders can thrive both personally and professionally.
- Leadership Legacy Portfolio: Participants will create a Leadership Legacy Portfolio, a comprehensive project that encapsulates their learning and achievements throughout the program. - Networking Events: Exclusive events will facilitate connections among participants, Leadership San Benito alumni, and key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and community building.
