The San Benito County Elections Office hosted Flag Day celebration on June 14 that included light refreshments and information about elections. Over 40 people attended the event.
San Benito County Clerk-Recorder-Registrar of Voters Francisco Diaz gave a speech about the meaning of Flag Day.
According to History.com, Flag Day was established by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916 to commemorate the anniversary of the resolution establishing of the flag.
