37th Annual Street Festival and Car Show winners announced

The Hollister Downtown Association (HDA) is pleased to announce the winners of our 37th Anniversary Street Festival and Car Show held on Saturday, July 20, 2024. We registered 301 vehicle entries in the Downtown Hollister event.

This year’s winners are:

The Best of Show winner is Entry #295 1936 Coral Ford Coupe owned by Ken Harris of Hollister. This vehicle will be featured on next year’s shirt, poster, and flyers.
Longest Distance Traveled: Entry #81 1956 Black Chevy Bel Air owned by Dennis Gerrity of Nevada City, CA who drove 170 miles.

People’s Choice: Entry #244 1948 Green Buick owned by Frank Ledesma of Hollister.
Best Mustang, John Marfia Jr. Memorial: Entry #198 1965 Blue Ford Fastback Mustang owned by Walter Willard of Hollister.
Best Paint: Entry #51 1940 Maroon Mercury Custom owned by Valerio Varela of Aromas.
Best Corvette: Entry #92 1962 Red Chevy Corvette owned by Jim Truffa of Hollister.
Best Interior: Entry #257 1966 Light Green Chevy Custom Dually owned by Jose Rodriguez of Hollister
Best Original: Entry #107 1964 Black Cosworth Vega owned by Lloyd Pearce of Hollister.
Best San Benito County-The Dennis Osorio Award: Entry #47 1955 Blue & White Chevy Bel Air owned by Ernie Gonzalez of Hollister.
