The Riverpark Fire, reported at 3:02 p.m. July 23 near Park Street and San Benito Street in Hollister is being fought by Hollister Fire Department on the ground and Cal Fire air attack units. Forward progress has stopped at three acres. The fire damaged the paintball course along the riverbed.

The Beaver Fire, reported at 4:07 p.m. July 23, on Coalinga Road near Hernandez Resorvior is under 10 acres and Cal Fire is using ground an air units to attack.
